CONSTRUCTION

All Step Above Off-Road products are built using the same materials, finishes and fabrication standards — regardless of whether it’s a tray, canopy, rear bar or accessory.

• Constructed from high-quality 5052 / 5005 aluminium sheet and extrusion
• Fully welded aluminium construction for long-term durability
• RHS aluminium framework for strength, rigidity and reduced flex
• Components welded and integrated rather than bolted wherever possible
• Designed to distribute load evenly and minimise chassis stress
• Built to handle touring loads, trade use and harsh off-road conditions
• Consistent build techniques across trays, canopies and rear bars

STEP ABOVE OFF-ROAD

Step Above Off-Road was built around one simple idea — create gear that’s engineered properly, built once, and trusted everywhere.

We don’t chase trends or shortcuts. Every product is designed for real-world use, refined through hands-on testing, and built in partnership with fabricators who share the same standards we do.

From touring rigs to trade setups, everything we build is designed to work hard, last long and integrate cleanly with your vehicle.

If you’ve got a specific build in mind, reach out — we’re always happy to talk it through.

UNIDAN ENGINEERING

Step Above Off-Road products are built in collaboration with Unidan Engineering, one of Australia’s most respected aluminium fabricators.

Unidan’s background spans expedition vehicles, commercial platforms and extreme-duty applications — and those same engineering principles are applied across our entire range.

• Built in collaboration with Unidan Engineering
• Shares fabrication techniques used in expedition and commercial vehicle builds
• Focus on structural over-engineering, not minimum-spec construction
• Purpose-built jigs and repeatable processes for accuracy and consistency
• Components designed specifically for integrated vehicle use — not off-the-shelf parts

This partnership ensures every product is engineered as a system, not just a collection of parts.
